Trying to "make it"...

I've been thinking a lot lately about how I can advance myself as a guitar player...and my mind keeps coming back to the idea of Playing With Better Players Makes You Better.....and I think that is true.


I'm starting to look for ways that I could get "out there" a bit. Test the waters...see how it feels, etc.


Our church's praise band is playing the Coweta Fall Festival 9/15 at 1:15 in downtown Coweta. It should be a good time. I really enjoy being able to get outside and play...it holds that perfect level of an illusion of grandeur that is so satisfying.


I am going to start working on a short setlist of Tulsa Sound that I could bust out eventually. The Colony does a singer/songwriter deal, I think it is on Sunday now....and wraps up before Paul Benjamin's Sunday Night Thing....that would be fun!
